Register your 1969 "S" code 390 Mustang
To register your car I need at least the following information:
1) Vehicle Identification Number (From your title, dash, or fender stamp, NOT from the door tag unless that VIN # matches the fender or dash).
2) The following information from your door plate (providing the
VIN # on the plate matches the one on the fender or dash) or build
sheet:
Build date (if you can find it)
Body code
Exterior color code
Interior trim code
Axle code
Transmission code
(DSO) number
3) Your address and e-mail address.
You may register by e-mail (preferred) by sending all the above requested information to:
Or you may end the above information to:
390 Registry
PO Box 22
Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351
NOTES:
No "clone" cars will be accepted. Your car MUST have an "S" as the fifth digit of the VIN to be accepted for registration not just a 390 engine in it. Conversely your car does not have to presently have a 390 engine in it, what I am looking for here is cars with the "S" as the fifth digit.
I reserve the right to verify VIN information through outside sources.
There are currently no plans for a mailed newsletter which would be very expensive. In the future I may e-mail updates to all registrants. It is critical that you update your address and e-mail info if it changes so I may keep in touch with you if needed.
I do not charge to list your car on the registry, but I do invite donations. It costs money to operate and maintain a website such as this. Donations are not tax deductible, but are still appreciated. If enough donations are collected I may check into the possibility of having an all 1969 390 Mustang meet in the future. At the very least I will acknowledge all donations by e-mail and a running total of donations will be posted on the website. Donations to date (as of 4/12/05): $0
